Diffchecker.net provides a web-based tool for comparing two pieces of plain text and highlighting additions, removals, and changes. The current service is focused on text comparison only.

The site is provided for general productivity, review, debugging, and document-comparison purposes. It is not legal, security, compliance, or professional advice.

You may use the site only if you can legally agree to these Terms and only in compliance with applicable laws. You are responsible for the text and files you choose to compare.

You retain any rights you have in the text or files you compare. The tool is designed to process compared text locally in your browser, and we do not claim ownership of that content.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to paste, upload, compare, or otherwise use any text in the tool. Do not use the site to process content in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.

The site may store one recent comparison session in your browser's IndexedDB storage so you can restore work after an accidental reload. That local session may include compared text and settings.

You are responsible for clearing local site data if you do not want the browser to keep that session on your device. Clearing the tool, dismissing the restore prompt, or clearing site data in your browser can remove it.

The site may use Google Analytics and hosting services to measure traffic, operate the website, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. These services may process technical and analytics data as described in the Privacy Policy.

You agree not to misuse the site or interfere with its operation.

• Do not use the site for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing activity.

Diff output should be reviewed by you. You are responsible for any decision you make based on a comparison result.

The site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
